I hope you heard my whisper,
When I passed by as a cloud,
Didn’t want to wake your sleep,
Didn’t want to rake your dreams.
Many miles I had travelled,
My dried tears turned vapour,
My pain turned into dust
My swollen eyelids needed respite,
The burdens I bore needed solace,
Didn’t want to thunder,
Didn’t want to outburst.
seeing you asleep adorning a smile,
I let out a whisper, of gentle thunder
A few teardrops over your garden,
I remain as dewdrops on your grass.
I remain on the persimmon you’d pluck.
I hope you see me smile at you,
When I watch you as the moon.
On some days I’m full of light,
Some days I watch you from darkness,
Most days I remain a crescent,
a mix of pain and pleasure.
Watching your sore feet at the end of a day,
your dreamy eyes, as you wake the next,
watching you alone, watching you with others,
I watch you smile, I watch you whimper.
Didn’t want to vanish,
Didn’t want to stay afar,
between earth and ether, yet distances remain
I remain in your smile when see you the moon,
I remain in your world, watching over you.
