‘Open’ your eyes, I’d whisper in your ears,
Carrying you in my arms, a journey beyond time,
Far, far away in a world where only fairies live,
Miles away from the world you slept,
beyond the realm of right and wrong,
waking you up from a life long slumber.
Where morals cease to exist, borders desist,
Where virtues vanish, beliefs crumble,
Living under glass walls, nothing to hide.
I peep into your soul, your deep dark eyes,
No promise you’d stay, no promise of forever,
Only sacred bond, a word that you’d return.
No lines drawn to cross, no limits exist,
No one to judge, no accusing eyes,
No whispers that hurt, no moments of regret,
Where love remains an open door,
You walk in to be yearned, walk out fulfilled,
You soak in abundance, bereft of attachment.
Every spring your shower, every storm your passion,
Every moment a reverie, every season your canvas,
Dancing under the moon, rolling under stars
Where the world becomes your garden,
Where life becomes a nomadic journey,
The world we came from, a distant memory.
I’m not the first you desired, nor the last,
One hand around you, one hand holding another,
Our eyes remain closed, another pair stares,
A realm where love knows no bounds,
I embrace you in my arms, knowing this won’t last,
Our lips entangle, without owning each other.
