Delving into myself

I was born in noise, but born out of silence.
Consummated with knowledge, living in ignorance,
Eternally effulgent, yet squandering in darkness,
Though lost I seem in hours, I am timelessness.

As a river that leaps over rocks and hills as a cascade,
Swaying its hips in melody, never its youth seems to fade,
Its birth abysmal mystery, death oceanic eternity,
Shrouded in pride I am, lost of all pervasive tranquility.

I know the answers, yet oblivious with every dawn.
I question myself, confused in ignorance, I spawn.
Yet when I contemplate in the night, my origin I realize,
Eternity is within me, birth is so transient and so is demise.

I am born in noise, but born out of silence,
I will expire with noise, converge with silence,
Submerge in silence, ignite with silence,
Expand by silence, exist as silence.
